Building Relationships with You

To build a lasting relationship with you and to provide you with the requested textile and garment care services, we require specific information. The information that we require is (but not limited to) you surname, first name, address and phone number. We define "personal information" as information; oral, written or computer based.

Using Your Personal Information

We use this personal information to identify you when you drop off and pick up your garments and textiles when they are ready. The completeness of you personal records is necessary to ensure the right person is picking up your garments. For example, there could be two David Smiths. In order to balance our shift reports, we record partial credit card numbers. For our charge account customers, we maintain your credit card numbers to bill your account for services rendered.

Our dry cleaning computer software system is an intra - network. At no time is the network attached to the internet. Your personal information is safe. Furthermore, we do not sell or give your personal information to any third parties except where authorized by law. We do not share your garment care habits with others. We will not share your personal information with other companies without your express written consent.

Your Rights

As a valued customer of Careful Hand Laundry & Dry Cleaners, you have the right to access your personal information and request changes if required. It is your legal right to choose not to provide us with some or all of your personal information, or to deny us the use or disclosure of your information for certain purposes. Should you exercise this right, we will not unreasonably withhold requested services; however, certain information must be provided to supply the requested services.
